Join Us as We Decide How to Help Belshaw
Please come to our next PTO meeting, as we discuss how to help Belshaw. With the District’s financial crisis, we need to carefully choose how we can best help our students and staff.  We have some suggestions on fund raising preferences, activity ideas, and community events.

We meet on the second Monday of each month in the Belshaw Library at 7:00pm.

Target’s Take Charge of Education
If you have a Target Guest Card or a Target Visa, you can sign up for Target’s Take Charge of Education program by calling 1-800-316-6142 or by visiting Target.com and designate Belshaw School.

There are 271 families who designated Belshaw for their school.
Target’s last donation to Belshaw:  Aug 2004: $403.65
Total of all of Target’s donations through Aug 2004:  $4,740.98
Amount accumulated so far toward Target’s next donation: $48.66.

Box Tops for Education

Our new Box Tops for Education coordinator is Marilyn DeMoss. Let's give her lots of work by turning in your Box Tops!

Just clip Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite General Mills products and send them in to your child’s classroom.  Each Box Top is worth 10¢.  Marilyn will then count them, send them in, and soon after, we will receive a check!

Register for Escrip!
You can register Belshaw to receive 2-6% of your purchases at many retailers and restaurants in Northern CA, any time you use your Visa, Mastercard, or ATM.  You can also register your Macy’s card, and some grocery store cards.

This a great way to raise funds for Belshaw with out any cost to you. We are
listed as Belshaw Elementary Parents & Educators where it asks for your designated group.

Recycle printer cartridges

Send in your toner and ink jet cartridges to be recycled.
Belshaw will receive a small donation for each one. The company
also accepts old cell phones. Just drop them in the cart
outside the office, and we’ll do the rest!
